چکیده
Abstract — An iterative algorithm to enhance the quality of optoacoustic images is proposed based on Banach fixed point theorem. Numerical simulation propagation ultrasound waves and image reconstruction for media with characteristics close soft biological tissues has been performed. The problem eliminating distortions artifacts in modeled four schemes. efficiency approach demonstrated even a few iterations.

Investigation of iterative image reconstruction in three-dimensional optoacoustic tomography.
Iterative image reconstruction algorithms for optoacoustic tomography (OAT), also known as photoacoustic tomography, have the ability to improve image quality over analytic algorithms due to their ability to incorporate accurate models of the imaging physics, instrument response and measurement noise. However, to date, there have been few reported attempts to employ advanced iterative image rec...
متن کاملIterative reconstruction algorithm for optoacoustic imaging.
Optoacoustic imaging is based on the generation of thermoelastic stress waves by heating an object in an optically heterogeneous medium with a short laser pulse. The stress waves contain information about the distribution of structures with preferential optical absorption. Detection of the waves with an array of broadband ultrasound detectors at the surface of the medium and applying a backproj...
متن کاملA Novel Non-Iterative Scheme for Fractal Image Coding
Iteration in conventional fractal coding schemes not only leads to a high computation complexity, but also requires a large amount of memory. It unavoidly prolongs the decoding process and precludes the use of high speed applications. To overcome these problems, we propose a non-iterative method based on a novel domain pool design for fractal image coding. The domain pool used in the encoder is...
متن کاملIterative reconstruction method for three-dimensional optoacoustic imaging
Three-dimensional optoacoustic imaging uses detection of laser-generated thermoelastic waves with an ultrasound sensor array. Integrated acoustic signals (velocity potentials) are back projected into the source volume to give a map of absorbed laser energy. Since the number of array elements and the receiving solid angle are limited, radial back projection produces artifacts such as back projec...
